Hillside Hangout welcomes Hatfield-McCoy Trailriders!

Nestled high in the beautiful mountains of southern West Virginia, the Hillside Hangout is on a private lot perfectly suited to host Hatfield-McCoy Trail riders, their family and friends.  Access 5 different trails on ATV from the properties without trailering. Minutes to historic downtown Williamson. 

With 4 bedrooms, the Hangout sleeps up to 12 people.  The outdoor area is a must see for those who like to hangout under the stars and enjoy some time by the fire!  Your stay includes fire wood, all linens, towels, paper products, coffee, creamer, corn hole and games.

 4 Bedroom House

The Gibson House has been newly renovated and is ready to be your home away from home.

Accommodations include 3 bedrooms upstairs with 2 queen bedrooms and 2 sets of twin bunks, full kitchen, Laundry Room and a large living area with Roku LCD television and Free High-Speed WiFi.  Downstairs has additional full bed, living space with sleeper sofa, Roku LCD TV, kitchenette, 3 piece dining set and laundry/bathroom. 

Ask about grocery drop. Let us have the house stocked for you when you arrive. We can also have trail passes waiting on you when you arrive. 

Located 1 mile from Hatfield-McCoy Trail Access

   The Hillside Hangout is located less than 1 mile from the nearest access point to the Buffalo Mountain Trail of the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System. You can also ride Rock House and Devil Anse trails while visiting. 5 trails can be accessed from the house on ATV without trailering. Trails 24-25, trail 10, 11-12 and the Buffalo Trail head. 

We are conveniently located 2 miles from Downtown Historic Williamson West Virginia.  Also for your convenience, there is a mini grocery, restaurants and gift shops within 2 miles. Park your truck and trailer and ride your ATV right where you need to go.    

Plenty of Parking

The Hillside Hangout has plenty of parking for your trucks, trailers and ATV/UTV's. Park at the Hillside and ride your buggy less than a mile to trail access or 2 miles to historic Downtown Williamson.
